Loved the albergue. Felt like being home right away. We did groceries before climbing up, but even if you have no food there is enough ingredients to cook something for donativo. There is a short selection of alcohol with set prices. Domingo, the hospitalero is really friend and helps you in whatever. 20 beds, separate bathroom for men and women.

The albergue is a great place to stay if you want skip Grado and still have strength in your legs for a steep climb. The view and laidback atmosphere makes it worthwhile.
The keeper, Mr. Domingo, is a great host. He keeps the fridge stocked with yogurt, fresh eggs and cheese, bread, crackers and many other food you can cook for a donativo. Also, he keeps beer, wine, sidra, and other drinks you can purchase for cheap. As for coffee and sodas, there is a vending machine for that. Overall, the albergue is a great place to see the sunset. The only downside is that there is no WiFi.

Worth it for the friendly owner, Domingo, and the awesome sunrise. There is a kitchen with a stove but no microwave, as well as a laundry machine.
