Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Great location, 300m from Playa del Poo and very close to the Camino. Very relaxed hosts. Garden in the backyard.
They charge 5€ for breakfast that consisted of a box of corn flakes, carton of milk and a pack of cookies + some instant coffees for all the people that were there that day (8). Kitchen was closed during breakfast, so no chance to do your own food.
I felt awkward when they eat their dinner at the same place were pilgrims can sit and relax, because I was involuntary witness to their family life.
Overall good to sleep, but maybe bring your own food and ask to skip the breakfast, so you save 5€ for nothing. There’s a nice cafe in the next town, just 1h away, so better to eat there.

It's a good place. The people were nice and friendly. When I called for booking I got at once an answer.
I find it very nice, that they share their place with pilgrims. That is Camino.
A place to recommend.

Did not repley when I sent a booking request on WhatsApp or answered the phone. When I arrived the owner was not there but showed up after about 10 minutes. He is a veeery relaxed type. I had difficulties understanding him. Not only because of his strong accent but also because he didn't notice when I asked him to specify his explanation. There was no meal or breakfast. Just coffee and a cookie.
The owner and his family live in the same house and it was a strange feeling to walk through their living room. There was a constant sound of meditation/mindfullness music playing from a laptop. Also during the night from the office right outside my bedroom. In the morning I had problems to get access to my boots due to a misunderstanding so I knocked the door to the owner's bedroom. He came out and he was MAD at me...his wife was pretty normal and very sweet and speaks fluently English.

“Eco green La Casa verde” not that eco not that green… hosts are friendly but the hostel is not that clean nor that welcoming… No meal, but ok had dinner in the Pueblo. Not a single eco friendly furniture or piece of room ware.. Cheap plastic everywhere and crappy furniture. Breakfast with crap bread with a list of conservatives the size of my arm. Beautiful beach thought.

Well we booked this place ahead because it’s hard getting a bed and they promised a Pilgrim meal. Sounded great until we got here. No pilgrim meal to start with. We were told there was a grocery store five minutes away. Problem is it closes at 14:00. The Bar doesn’t serve food until 20:30 and then the cheap meal is €18. We head back to the Albergue to eat our Muslie and an orange we had and go to bed early. Out early for a breakfast in the next town.

Camino de Sant…

This albergue is very welcoming the folks that work there are very welcoming. Faboulos views of the mountains and playa . The rooms are clean. Food cooked to order. Local and fresh. Stay of you get a chance it will not disappoint.

Camino de Sant…

Very welcoming, lovely location by the beach, has an idyllic garden. Hosts were exceptionally kind and were taking Covid measures seriously. They washed, dried and brought our laundry to our room for only 5 euros. Had a room and bathroom to ourselves. There is a basic breakfast included but not great. Would recommend going to el Romano sidrería in the evening - 10 min walk and does excellent cider and tapas. Gives you an authentic Asturias experience.
