They are welcoming, funny and very kind. Very comfortable! I shared a room with a Camino buddy and a private nath. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spacious and a shower with hot water.

Well, saw these wonderful reviews and walked extra 8km to casa morgade. I have to say the private room for 49 euros is quite small, the shower doesnt close very well and draining doesnt work well either, flooded the room not just bathroom. The biggest disappointment was the food. Came here with expectation of their local home cooked meal. I ordered their famous beef chop, but it was below average. Cold cut meat appetizer was ok. I dont compare with Italian or New york stake but at least cooked well and fresh from their own livestock. Well, so overall, i give 2 stars. People are friendly even though not much english, which is fine. Good thing is no bedbugs. Dont recommend for the price though

Good rest point, nice restaurant and friendly staff. But the upper building rooms have bed bugs (June 2023). We didn’t know there had been previous comments about this. But they are visible and sadly, they bite.

After reading the comment from last week, we were freaking out (I take bedbugs very seriously. In 112 countries, I have never caught them as I refuse to stay where there are recent reports anywhere on internet). We inspected room for an hour. We did find smears on both mattresses that could’ve been feces & one bug on outside window that could have been one. We spoke to 2 managers who advised there were no reports in our upper room (003), though there had been one 4 mos ago in the dorm. They closed for 4 weeks to fix. Happy to report I got no bites. We kept our bags in garbage bags just in case. Service, staff, food & drink & setting are beautiful, rooms clean & new. No kettle, AC not hooked up but we kept window open. They kindly accommodated our gluten-free requirements in all meals. Very quiet.

I had a nice lunch stop here with their menu del dia for 12€ with 5€ upgrade for their Galician beef and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Spain. They had a nice outside terrace and great service
