Stayed 10 May 2023. Real bed, linen, towel, chair, closet, and outlet! Very clean and restful. Food was good though it's the same menu for lunch or dinner. Friendly hosts.

Luxury place! 4 single beds in a room (#6), bed linen, real towel, even wardrobe with hangers! Yummy food, I had a lentil soup and a salad, plus a desert in variety of options, wine, bread.... The host Patricia is very welcoming helpful cheerful. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend stopping here. The hosts are very friendly and have allowed me to stay an extra night as I was unwell.
When everywhere was full, the Camino worked its magic and made a bed available for me which I was most grateful for!
They accommodated me and also assisted with catching a taxi the next day so I could catch up to my Camino family after having an unexpected rest day.

Albergue Via Trajana is closed. The municipal albergue is now open, but not finished. There are VERY limited food options in town. There's one restaurant that serves a la carte. There's also a small market. But that's it. And there's no towns close to Calzadilla before or after. Be prepared for limited options if you come this way.

These folks are just the best!! So kind, so friendly. And the place is SO clean. It is well worth the long trek to this village.
