This alburgue is a must stay! Sara is not only an amazing hostess but the best cook ever. She prepared an authentic 6 course Pilgrims meal. The accommodations were very comfortable and extremely clean. You will not be disappointed!

Happy to confirm the comments made here by fellow pilgrims recently (May 2023).
Sara is a kind and lovely host. The dinner was amazing. She washed and dried our clothes. There is a dining room and seating both in the backyard and the front yard. You can help yourself to a beer or softdrink for €1.50, or tea/coffee €1.

Albergue Suseia is truly a wonderful place to stay. You are met with homemade lemonade. It’s small very clean Albergue with the most lovely host, Sara. Everything is done with so much care and love. The dinner was amazing and made with fresh beautiful ingredients. The salad was incredible!
There was a living room/dining room area was comfortable to relax in and meet other pilgrims.
Easy to do laundry. It’s our favorite place so far. So grateful to have been able to stay there. Highly recommend it!!

Sara was a super hostess. The dinner was to die for!! And Sara explained each dish from her area. €18 for a 4 course dinner.
The rooms/toilets and bathrooms were very clean.
You can have you clothes washed for €4 and dried for €5.
It’s a bit of a walk from the trail/bridge but totally worth the walk.
We had the BEST evening with all the other pilgrims!
No breakfast but she has coffee/tea for €1 (honesty box)

This small albergue is one of the best accommodations we stayed in on the Camino. After walking over the bridge into Zubiri, turn right and it’s about a 500m walk to the right. At the time of our visit, the albergue had only 12 beds which included a spacious double room with private bathroom - great shower. Sara is a fantastic host and goes out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable. Super clean, amazing five course home cooked meal, washing/drying facilities, you want for nothing here.

Sara is a gracious and friendly host. She cooked us an amazing dinner, including a special treat for our friend celebrating her birthday. She gave us information about masses and things of interest coming up in the next few villages. The facility is super clean and new. It is about a 7 minute walk from the center of town. Highly recommend!

Camino de Sant…

Well worth the short walk. The rooms were very clean and nice with REAL towels! The dinner served here was the best that we have had so far. Traditional Basque dishes. Nice breakfast buffet comes with the bed too!

Camino de Sant…

Amazing place! Very friendly people. Great Livingroom to rest, read and chat with other pilgrims, nice patio. New place that they keep very clean. Best part is the dinner; sitting together enjoying this great meal is a memorable event. Thank you!

Camino de Sant…

Well worth the walk. Cross the bridge and turn right and look up a ways and you will see it on the left. Once I arrived, there was a nice cool beverage awaiting me. There was a bathroom located in the room I was staying in. The bunks were comfortable. Real towels and a place to stash your pack. The meal was very good and the community of Pilgrims was great. They have recliners to sit in and relax and a nice enclosed backyard area with places to sit and relax. They have a washer and dryer for your use. In the morning when you leave Make sure to remember to cross back over the bridge to continue on the Camino. I forgot and ended up walking on the highway and got very lost and frustrated.

Camino de Sant…

It was really great to stay at Suseia again. Bunks were clean and comfortable. Communal Dinner was delicious and breakfast was plentiful. They will wash and dry your clothes for 3 euros each. Well worth the stay.
