I arrived after 3pm and there was still hot water! It had been raining all day and when I got there, Ana gave me some newspaper to put in my shoes.
She cooked a very good meal and the wine was nice as well.

Easy to find, clean tidy and comfy.
Ana cooked a lovely evening meal and breakfast was available for an early start.
Couldn’t ask for much more.

A great place to stay with great comfort and lovely host. The facilities are clean and very well kept. Great view from the rooms. I highly recommend the menu and food with vine from the local town. Thanks for taking care of me!

This is one of the best albergues I’ve stayed in. Villamayor isn’t a popular stop, but it should be. It’s a quiet little village with a little shop and a bar/restaurant. The albergue is very nice and clean. The bunks beds are the sturdy wooden ones that don’t squeak and creak every time you move. Javier is very nice and eager to help with whatever you need. The room I was in had 12 bed and a balcony with an amazing view of the countryside. I highly recommend this albergue!!

Very nice place. Great room with balcony and scenic view. Peaceful. We were only 3 women in the room. Very lovely dinner. Ana and Javier are great hosts. My best stay so far. Thank you very much.

We stayed in the private room with a bunk bed and private bathroom. It was clean. Ana was the hospitaleira, very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the local bar, not great. Breakfast was bread and coffee. An ok experience but not so great that I’d choose to stay here again.

I emailed and made a reservation. Javier made us feel welcome. Had a six person room- bunk beds in room with balconies overlooking a wonderful view of country side. Washing machines for clothes and lines to hang clothes off balcony. Best pilgrim meal home made by Javier with all local ingredients. Essential stop in Monjardín!

Javier was very nice and helpful. He seems to run the place by himself. The rooms and bathrooms, were clean and modern. Nice kitchen that we used to cook a meal.
