From the outside, you would not expect much but I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The shared rooms are 2 people per room & they have their own bathroom. The shower was incredible! They have heaters, inexpensive laundry machines, a bar, a good pilgrims dinner and the family who owns it, was very kind! Loved it!

We stayed at Alberque El Convento on May 21, 2022. Great place to stay. Nice clean private room with bath. Has a laundry with washer AND dryer! Great restaurant. The staff was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Windows where broken in our room and wouldn’t open. It was so hot I left the Albergue and slept outside.

Camino de Sant…

We got a double room and it was very nice. Had the nicest shower I’ve seen on the Camino. This is a new building built to be an alburgue and a hotel. Had a good pilgrims dinner with an excellent wine (extra cost). Well run and clean. I recommend the Alburgue El Concento de Foncebadón.
