This was a wonderful stop. It is a small alburegue. Uli and Sabina are the are the owners, and they obviously take pride in hosting pilgrims. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with them. It was more like a visit in a family home than a night in a dormitory. Many thanks to Uli and Sabina.

Single beds, kind hosts, nice little garden, lovely dinner and breakfast, real sheets and towels, good pillows and duvets. Everything a pilgrim can wish for

Relaxing, delicious, clean.

The owners are incredibly nice and have a fun sense of humor.

You walk in and are greeted with fresh lemonade. Relaxed check in process. Real sheets. Hand towel and bath towel provided.

Enjoy their home made dinner and German breakfast (to go option available).

Lovemy couple and a top Camino experience.

The hosts are lovely and knowledgeable with tons of tips if you ask. A great towel system and one of the cleanest places on the Camino. Highly recommend!

Arriving here was like a home coming to a place full of warmth and love . On a cold day , we were welcomed with cups of piping hot tea. They invited us to sit , enjoy the tea and calm down before doing the checkin logistics, no rush at all and instead chat to welcome us, verily lovely couple.
The bed was very comfortable, with clean sheets, Donna and extra blankets. Towels and hand towels were also provided. The food was soo good and hearty, they made me a vegetarian patty that was divine!Breakfast was so good with homemade jams and a bag to takeaway if you didn’t want to eat .
Feels like being home and pilgrim life was on hold for the night . Highly recommended

A lovely small and intimate albergue. No bunks, towels and sheets provided, great shower, delicious dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended

This was easily my favourite albergue. Sabine and Uli, a German couple, run this albergue perfectly. They were by far the most warm and inviting hosts. On arrival, you are greeted with a hot tea blend of chamomile, ginger and some others. Sabine carefully helps you take off your pack, hang up your wet clothes and put your wet boots by the boot dryer. The albergue only takes 5 people per night and so you become a family here - I walked with that same group for the next couple of days as we had built a bond! Dinner was fantastic!! Such great, hearty food! And breakfast was fantastic too!! No bunk beds here - single beds only! Yay! And you’re provided with a sheet and duvet, so you don’t need to use your sleeping bag! What a warm and lovely stay!!

Sabine and Uli were just like my grand parents. It was the best night that I had on my Camino - warm bed, tasty dinner and breakfast. Strongly recommend.

I stayed at Sabine and Uli's previous albergue, Das Animas in Ambasmestas, in May 2019. Couldn't have wished for a more cordial welcome, and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Hoping to stay with them again this April.

The home is wonderful and you are provided with real sheets, a blanket, and a towel. However, you are not permitted to use your own sleeping bags or blankets and there are a few other slightly anal rules. I know that he albergues need to run a tight ship to prevent bedbugs and such but it can feel a bit like you’re intruding on someone else’s home. Which, I guess you are in this case.

The facilities are very nice and homey. Kinda weird vibes though
