Lovely location with a few nice bars and restaurants around it. Room was on the third floor and a bit hot. Unfortunately our room had bed bugs. I know that usually these pests are not the fault of the establishment as can be accidentally bought in by pilgrims but I informed the female staff person in the morning, she was dismissive. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Albergue is clean and has good facilities. We were in the attic room. It was like a furnace and air con is broken so would avoid the top floor if you do decide to stay here

The other reviews seem very harsh.

This was a perfectly fine Albergue.

It is a commercial one (bar/hotel/Albergue) so lacks the charm and welcome of some hospitalero.

But it was clean, reasonably priced and efficient.

The rooms were small but nothing wrong with that: three literas and a private bathroom is better than some huge dormitorio.

I have started in nicer albergues but this one is perfectly fine and the other reviews seem oddly harsh Lo.

I booked a bunk room on booking.com. I went up to the room… it was tiny, 3 bunks squashed into a very small room and the heat was unbearable. No attempt to separate male and females in such a small room, and the man who was in there made me feel very uncomfortable. I left and went to Saint James Way.

Had a double room w bathroom. Clean and comfy. But no particular personality and not a very communal feel.

19July2021: I stayed in the albergue part. 15€ 3 to a room with one bathroom. They have a washing machine f3€ and dryer for 3€…they also have a back patio with a sink to hand wash clothes and clothes line. Wifi does not work in the room I’m in or the back patio…only in the common area & bar. They also provide a small locker with key for any valuables. The air conditioning is not working (maybe on purpose) at least in the albergue section. The bar does have salad plates or pasta plates that they will serve even past lunch hours.
