Staying in a very clean private room, with private bathroom (towels, shower gels incl!) and a cosy, charming kitchen with a nice place to sit, to enjoy breakfast. Nothing to complain about here!!! I also went to the restaurant, where I enjoyed a wonderful chicken burger and in the evening I could get a delicious toast with “jamón”, tomato and olive oil, cause I didn’t feel that hungry to eat a whole menu! This is a very good place, with helpful and flexibel people in the staff! I love it! Thank you, Jose. For helping me to arrange the transport of my backpack 🙏🏻✊🏻

I am sorry to leave a bad review because the hospitalero was lovely, but the bed was unclean and super uncomfortable. There were little specks of stuff all over the bed when I arrived and the sheet I was given to cover it didn’t fit. The bed was also so uncomfortable that even after walking 25km to get here I couldn’t fall asleep. And I am not a picky sleeper. In the morning my neck was stuck and back hurt. Cannot emphasize enough how uncomfortable my bed was.

Highly recommend. Jose, the owner, is so friendly and kind. His whole family and staff are great. The room and bathroom was clearly cleaned thoroughly. And the bar and restaurant are great. Can't ask for anything more from an albergue.

I booked a private room. Love it😊. Nice, quiet and clean. Thick towels. And a beautiful kitchen. I highly recommend this place

Cute little room with 2 single beds. Kitchen is well equipped for toast, coffee and tea for breakfast. You could cook here too if you're inclined.
Funny there's no soap available for a private room; usually shampoo and body wash are offered.

The hosts are nice and helpful, whether you need help to plan your itinerary or wash your clothes, the place impeccable, the food good and the site breathtaking.

I did not stay here but got the pilgrim menu at the restaurant. The food was not bad. It was served fairly promptly.

Comfortable place to stay.
Restuarant is not great, they take faaaar too long to serve anything.
My friend had left his wristwatch hanging in the bathroom and we called back once we got to Ponferrada, Jose personally brought it all the way to Ponferrada, which we thought was a very kind gesture!
Thank you!

The sleeping facilities at the Albergue were okay but dining was a disappointment. There were only a few menus and dinners had to wait until they saw one to order. Euro 14 for pizza that came frozen from a box and heated before being served 🥲

Got a private room for 30€. Shared bath with 1 other room. Really comfortable & a great view of the sunset.
Dinner was pretty good, but no breakfast. Lots of garden space to sit & hang clothes to dry.
