We had a wonderful night at Ikigai. It's right at the beginning of town but don't let that fact distract you. Very clean and pleasant and the pilgrim dinner was excellent. Great host! I would recommend staying at this Albergue!

The Albergue is very clean and has a lot of fresh open space. The lady who runs the place us so very accomodating and works hard to make you feel at home. There were only 3 of us in the room.
A family style pilgrims dinner is available on site as is breakfast. Both really good.

I would definitely stay here again.

We have loved staying at Ikigai. The bright common area is so comfortable. Beatriz is a personable and attentive host and we feel like we have made a new friend. Dinner was incredible as well! Don’t miss this albergue

It is a very nice place, the host Beatriz is such a nice person and she loves what she is doing. She made me feel very welcome. She just started her buisness and I wish her all the best!!

The lady of the albergue is very friendly and helpfull. The meal in the evening was very good. It was very peaceful at night. We have breakfast at 7.30 what is a little late. It is the start of some thing new. Go on like that.

This Albergue seems not to take notice of a pilgrim’s basic needs. The kitchen is not open to pilgrims who wish to boil some eggs for the walk, the common space is closed to pilgrims in the morning, so there is no place to have a cup of tea or coffee; there is not even a chair to sit on while you put on your hiking boots. No breakfast is available, nor any accommodations to make your own. When we stayed, a dozen children, mainly boys, filled the dormitory, so my guess is this Alburgue is not really intended for pilgrims. However, the goats WERE cute!

Extremely squeaky beads, any little move make sound.
I also, can't say this place is very clean, no soap in the toilets.
Is all this positive reviews are fake?

You must visit El Camino De Las Estrellas.
Don’t be put off by its utilitarian and slightly scruffy exterior. Inside it’s clean and up to the standards of the best alburgues. If you venture indoors you’ll be met by its charming and (in the best possible way) slightly eccentric host, Marco, who will introduce you to his two beloved baby goats. He will then describe the evening’s Pilgrim Meal, before, in true self deprecating fashion, encouraging you to check out all the other quality eateries in the town. I urge you to ignore the other choices and go for his Pilgrim Meal. You won’t be disappointed. It’s wholly vegetarian but if you’re a meat eater I guarantee you won’t feel unsatisfied. Honestly it’s Michelin star quality. Exploding with flavour. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. When questioned, Marco finally drops his modest veneer and admits he is a passionate chef following the Omakase school of cooking. Carefully chosen fresh ingredients subtly adapted con a daily basis according to his whims and passions. Don’t miss it!

The albuergue was clean and had separate bathrooms for men and women, and there were cute baby goats in the courtyard. As mentioned by someone else, the bunk beds were very noisy. We were told dinner was around 7-7:30 but by 7:15 the food was all eaten so people who arrived late did not get much to eat. I arrived at 7 for dinner and by the time I served my food, two dishes were completely gone. The food I got was delicious but it really wasn’t sufficient for the number of hungry pilgrims staying at the albuergue.

I am so happy I fount this place. Hospitaliero Marco is amazing and the place looks pretty good as well, like an English house from Austen novel. Two little goats to welcome you as well. Highly recommend.
