Angel was not here so his friend was running the check in desk. Seeing all of Angel’s credentials on the wall, I can tell he brings a lot of enthusiasm and life to the place. Without him, it was just a well-kept, very clean albergue. The dorm room was €10 and €2 for a sheet. The kitchen is well set up to self-cater. The cats outside are friendly! The town is pretty quiet but it’s worth visiting the cathedral down the street.

Angel runs a great place — it is warm and inviting, even with the basic accommodations. The dinner is amazing, and Angel creates a great community with his stories and information. Highly recommended!

Wifi is turned off at 10pm, not turned back on in the morning. Nice because it's quite, if you want more amenities then stay down the street

We did not get to meet Angel and there was no dinner but that's ok, it's the weekend! We can go to several places close.
Beds and pillows are comfortable and covered with "soft plastic" like we're seeing in many hostels now. It seems sanitary and is appreciated. Blankets are provided upon request and sheets are €2
It's an older building and kept clean enough. Plenty of TP which is appreciated, especially first thing in the morning. I hate it when it's left unstocked for the paying guests!
Our receiver, Christian, was kind and helpful.

April 2024. Ángel is a great host who cooked vegan dinner. Only one toilet in the dorm but we were only about 10 people so was fine. Washing and drying machine. Could be a bit cleaner but was fine. There is a cat in the common area - could be an issue for those with allergies. I would stay here again.

A great wee place to stay with a nice atmosphere. I was not well before I got there and Angel was very kind. I would definitely recommend. Beds, sheets, blankets and facilities were clean. No problems.

Some single beds in the dorm (yay!), clean, real sheets, free basic breakfast and delicious vegetarian dinner. Anthony is such a nice host with a bit of an eccentric personality but I liked that. He even popped one of the other pilgrim's blister for her.

Reception smelled weird, host was overfamiliar, cat warning if anyone has allergies, food was overpriced and inadequate.

Angel has done a fantastic job of making this a welcome oasis. Great beds, real sheets, yummy communal dinner, free breakfast & an ever helpful host.
