We stayed in a private room with bathroom and it was nicely decorated really cosy very clean and the beds were really comfortable.
Shower had lots of hot water.
Stayed for the pilgrims menu which was nice.
The owner is so welcoming and really friendly and helpful, really nice stay and would recommend.

Had a good rest- but beware- in the bunk rooms a sheet or disposable cover is not obligatory. Apparently a sheet can be requested for rental/ but not
Hygienically required.

Apparently at dinner you should not use your phone- while scrolling through the days photos I was told “at our dinner table we don’t use phones - we talk to others”. If these are the house rules, I would prefer to be told in advance of being reprimanded.

Casa Flor is both an albergue and a hostal. I stayed at the hostal and it was wonderful. There is a nice garden where you can relax. The hosts of the albergue are wonderful people and both dinner and breakfast was very delicious. I highly recommend this place 🙏

I stayed here twice, once when leaving Astorga (and returning fir a friend) and then as I write this review.
Miriam and her team are the kindest, most incredible hosts…
There are 2 accommodations here, the Albergue is round the side.
Dorms and private rooms are both available. The beds are some of the most comfortable, the sheets snell incredible, food fabulous and hosts who have travelled the Camino beyond (you will have to ask…)

Open October 6, great welcome, great place to stay, good dinner and breakfast. Really nice people. Recommended.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The garden and garden loungers beckon, fabulous rooms with bathrooms. Lots of sofas and comfort. These people make an albergue you want to stay in. .
The food is beautiful made with care
. Beautifully cooked vegetables and puddings. Not your standard fare.
And therein lies the guru of the blister.
Truly fab.

The host was so kind and helpful and there is vegetarian options for the pilgrim menu, great shower after I worked out how to use it!
