Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Big dorm in a basement. Wifi doesn’t work. Nice showers. Business woman.

I arrived after an afternoon in the rain. I did not feel welcome but was rather talked too like a naughty child because I was wet and did not understand Spanish. This went on when I tried to use the laundry and other services. The big dorm was cowded and (understandably) full of wet close. However the evening was nice but another time I would rather try the other albergue

This is a great place for pilgrims with the restaurant open all afternoon with Pilgrim meal or an à la carte menu. The pilgrim meal was 12 euros and excellent. Having a bar right here also made it a nice place to relax through the afternoon with other pilgrims and she opened the bar at 7:00 so I could have a coffee and breakfast before leaving which was quite nice. She's very busy very businesslike but I found her very friendly

I reserved a bed and everything was fine. I fellow pilgrim I met a few days before asked for a bed and she said no, but there were still a lot of beds available. Wifi only works in the bar or restaurant. Food is alright, not many options for vegetarians. What I found very weird, was that the door to go outside was locked (I tried to get out at 6 am) and it seemed to remain locked until before 7. Very small shower cabins. Big room downstairs to sleep. I don’t think I would recommend it.

Great albergue with amazing staff. They phoned all over to try to secure us a bed for the best day. It is Easter week and a festival in Grandas de Salime. The albergue was excellent with good food and comfortable beds. The bar and terrace were good to hang out. The staff friendliness made it stand out. I would recommend staying here.

Great place, good facilities, clean and food is good. The owner is quirky and may come off as a little rude at first, but she’s not. Would recommend.

Clean and comfortable. There is a big spacious area for sleeping. There are facilities for washing your clothes. There is breakfast and coffee starting at 6:30 so you can start early.
After 9pm at night you can request bocadillos to take with you, as there are very few services between here and the next stop.
