Camino de Sant…

Gema and Leonel are great hosts. The casa rural has 7 rooms. A delicious home cooked dinner was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was good too, with fruit, yogurt, toast, home made jam, juice, coffee, milk etc - but not served until 8am. It’s a grueling 13Km to get here and even worse 17.5Km on the way out with no water, good, bathrooms, resting areas, or shade.

We arrived after a rather gruelling walk from Calzada del Coto- tired, we sat on the terrace for beer, red wine and small snacks. Amazing hospitality, beautiful evening (do eat in), lovely rooms. Washing service was a bonus… left feeling totally re energised.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The hostess was very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great and my wife loved the tub for taking her first bath since starting The Camino! We ate dinner and breakfast at a nearby alburge because the chef for this Casa Rural was in the hospital. The hostess arranged our dinner plans for us which was very helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Camino de Sant…

We were welcomed very warm and offered everything we wanted. The cook and his wife went the extra mile to make us comfortable. We enjoyed the best food on our camino so far, which was prepared by the singing cook.

Camino de Sant…

Wonderful hosts, great food and very nice and comfortable rooms.
We definitely will stay here for our next Camino!

Camino de Sant…

one of the best stops on the Camino. Rooms nice but hosts are so friendly and the food is possibly the best we had .

Camino de Sant…

Best stop on the Camino. A more expensive stay than most but worth every penny. You will be looked after, fed incredible homemade food and it’s impossible not to enjoy the surroundings and decor of the hotel.
Lovely staff.

I got here with a swelling leg after a long day. There's no pharmacy in this little town with 80 residents but there's a super cooling underground water pool to soak my feet. This natural healer is truly a gift from God! Both Gemma and Leo were wonderful hosts. They run this lovely place in their Camino spirits. I had a really good rest to allow my leg to heal. After some 18 days on the Camino, I suffered burnt out physically and mentally but now I feel renewed!

What a wonderful oasis. Gemma and Lio are wonderful hosts. The room was really comfortable and the evening meal, albeit a pilgrim menu, excellently prepared with care and a little outrageous singing by Lio made for possibly our best evening of the journey to date

We called ahead for a room. They are not on Booking.com. I’m so glad we did our room was charming. I enjoyed a luxurious barn in the fine tub. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
Dinner was superb: in the top three of our visit of 23 days so far on the Camino. (The competition was top restaurants in Pamplona and Logrono.) We could hear the chef, Lio, singing in the kitchen as he prepared our meal. It was great.
The boss, his wife, has fine English which she used to help us forward a bag and to point out interesting sites in town. We visited a city park with a Roman road exhibit. Do not miss this! We also soaked our weary feet in a “spring.” The 20 plus stone seating is in a cute building about two blocks from the hotel.
