The camino follows the road to Porto Camba (3.3km) and then picks up a trail to the hamlet of As Eiras.
We did our first day on the Camino from A Gudina to Campobecerros. We changed our plans and cancelled Casa Nuñez in Campobecerros. A pilgrim we met said there was a bedbug infestation there. We taxied back to A Gudina for another night at Bruma II which was fine. Then another taxi to begin again where we left off for Laza.
As we stay in hotels and Casa Rurals rather than albergues, we decided to taxi back and forth between Campobecerros and Laza so as to avoid the negatively reviewed Casa Núñez (check out Gronze). The taxi ride was 19 euros each way so well worth it to us, and it allowed us 2 nights to enjoy Pension Blanco Conde.
The new taverna was also closed on Sunday.
Looks good, but is closed on Mondays
Newly opened taverna right where the camino exits the town. Caring owner, Esperanza, and fresh homecooked food.
