The welcome lobby is large and inviting, with many seating areas and a very large kitchen. The shared rooms have 7 beds, 1 toilet & 1 shower. It was clean, comfortable and I was happy it was a short walk from shops and supermarkets.

I found this place to be very clean, modern and the location is perfect. Great value. Air-conditioning not so great but anything was a bonus.

After reading the “nightmare” review from 2 June 2023 I was hesitant. We stayed there on a Saturday, 10 June 2023 and Han a PERFECT experience. Seven personnel to a room, private combination lockers, power outlets at every bed and a five star hotel dining area & security. We all elected to leave the balcony door open during the night and Saturday night street partiers came by at various hours . . . Oh well. As a retired US Army Colonel - it was a fantastic experience, secure, clean and “over the top” hosts & staff.

Guiana is a nightmare, same shameful category as Winederlust in Logrono - a party hostel where it's impossible to sleep. Stay away.

This was a great place for the night. Facilities excellent for walkers and for bikers. The breakfast is now an extra charge but it was a good value for me. Buèn Camino.

What a nice, modern place- glass, stainless steel and granite. Large kitchen and complimentary breakfast. Front desk speaks English and accepts reservations. Rooms are spacious with own coded locker, reading lights and plug ins. We roasted bc we couldn’t figure out how to turn the AC on. Blankets if needed are provided. In room bathroom and separate shower. Basement Washing machine is €5 in coins but front desk makes change. Was worried that laundry wouldn’t dry but they had fans with a lot of lines and pegs. Grocery is a good 10 minute walk away which is hard after the brutal descent off foncebaddon. Was sent there by turning left and through a rundown, graffiti laden part of town. If turned right out the front door, then only a two minute walk to the heart of the tourist activity which is clean and active.

Air conditioning in a heat wave is much appreciated. Clean, comfortable, bike workshop, nice laundry and a sauna! Staff were friendly.

Extremely clean and comfortable, a nice big bathroom in each dorm room, my room had 6 beds total. A plug and a light at each bed and delicious breakfast

Horribly rude lady at the front desk. She told me that they are holding all bottom bunks, in the entire place, for “reservations”. Lies!!!! Stay elsewhere

I suspect I might’ve gotten bed bug bites from this hostel. Woke up in the middle of the night with itch on my back and found 2 bites like mosquito bites and a small one on my face. I am allergic to bed bug bites so they usually swell up in hives and get super itchy, but so far they haven’t swollen up today which is a good sign. Altho this afternoon (I’ve moved on) I noticed 2 more bites one on my shoulder one on my chin. not sure if they’re delayed reaction?
Also two more people in my room got bites too in the morning. We were in room 103.
