I stayed here last night. The staff were great, although they could have had more bar / waiters. From my experience it does need a lot more to make it enjoyable as a pilgrim I felt like the pilgrim part was an afterthought. The place was clean & beds comfortable but & it’s a couple of big ones: why is the ladies shower & toilet in a different area to the rooms, they managed to put the men’s on the same floor, why was the water in the showers boiling hot as soon as you turned it on which is dangerous. The water in the hand basins was boiling hot after about 15 seconds, you couldn’t adjust this & you had to ask someone to get your water bottle filled. As pilgrims we just want to be able too fill it without worrying anybody, the staff were busy enough as it was and working very hard. After a long day walking we shouldn’t have to worry about these things.

Still bedbug issue. Left note at reception. Several rooms are taped off but they need to do full fumigation! Off to laundromat.

Just saw posts. There are 2 rooms fully taped off that we see. Have checked my mattress, so far don’t see anything. Fingers crossed. Wish more places used totes and keep bags out of rooms. Too many stick their bags on the bed.

Sadly, can confirm that this place has bedbugs. It seems really nice, but another pilgrim who was staying there the same night found them in her bed and I also woke up covered in bites the next day (even though I tried to inspect my mattress). Reviews from Google suggest that the owners know and aren't doing anything about it except blaming pilgrims. So I can't see that the issue will be fixed, as getting rid of bedbugs requires serious treatment. They seem to think having done the annual fumigation is sufficient (it's not!). Hope others are luckier than me, but wanted to warn folks. This place may seem nice, but buyer beware!

Staff were alerted by 2 in the room and moved them, left us asleep. Very obvious on mattress by morning and now covered in bites+.
Noted later on reviews from 2019 and June 23 on booking.com. OTHERWISE: offered pilgrim dinner which was decent, lovely pool area, clean bathrooms.

This place will help you forget that you at pilgrim - for a few brief moments. Small bunk rooms, large clean bathrooms. Great pilgrim dinner with beautiful views. Book a massage while here- well worth it. Great recovery spot.

Wonderful views, wish the pool had been open but apparently it’s not summer yet. A little more upscale than i was expecting

One of my favorite places to stay on the camino. Nancy at reception was amazing and super friendly. Great views of mountains and valleys. Nice, hot showers and only 8 beds per dorm with your own light and charging station.

Did a rest day here with cute small town and comfortable couches to relax on

It feels like a hotel because everything is new and nice. And the view from the albergue is just superb. The balcony and terrace overkill the beautiful surrounding mountains.

There are 8 beds per room so it’s nice and quiet. You have your own plug-in and light and the beds are good. Only downside is that the women’s bathrooms are a bit far away from the rooms.

They have laundry service and a wash bassin in the basement.

Dinner was 15 euro and it was good but I’ve had better food on the Camino especially taking the price into consideration. Nothing special but definitely not bad either!

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

Large, clean and modern albergue. We had a huge private room - quiet and with a pleasant outlook. The dinner was the best pilgrim menu we have had thus far. Quality ingredients, delicious, and well presented. The f wood fire in the dining room was a nice touch as it was a cold evening. Breakfast also good. Highly recommended
