I arrived on a rainy day.
I was greeted by a young woman with an awful attitude.
I wish I had turned away and gone elsewhere.
The bedrooms were okay except for the fact that you have to come outside in the night if you need the toilet.
Perhaps alright on a warm dry night but not in the pouring rain.

Price is 12€ now. Limited power outlets, only 2 showers and toilets for a lot of people, and members of the public were also coming in and using because the Medieval Fair was on. Pretty garden, spa pool for sore feet, very small dark kitchen. It did the job.

Utterly stunning courtyard, took my breath away filled with beautiful flowers and murals and surrounded by the lovely historic building. I sat on the benches sheltered by the overhang content while it rained into the mosaic cobbles. Nice back garden too and good sinks for hand washing clothes. Bunk room was busy but that’s fine with ear plugs. Full cooking facilities and shop in town. The hospiteleros were also so kind. Really a must visit, still thinking about the courtyard.

I stayed two nights ago.
The weather was very cold and raining.
The dormitory room was very cold.
Toilets and showers separate from dorms meaning you have to go outside.
A young female hospitaliero was rude and unpleasant.
Another female hospitaliero was the opposit....friendly and cheerful.
I am presently walking my 11th full camino and this albergue is among my worst five.
Everything is substandard.

On entering through the door , I actually just had to stop and just absorb the beautiful peaceful courtyard. On entering the Hospitalier called hello , welcome. Then after checking in , there is another huge well set up garden in the back area . The kindest most helpful volunteers , comfortable beds and they suggested a close by restaurant that served a great pilgrim dinner . This stay I will carry as I continue My Way as most memorable. ❤️

Very nice place with beautiful garden. Small shower stalls and kitchen but enough.

This has been one of the best albergues I have stayed in on the Camino. The people working there are extremely nice and will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable. The albergue also has a very nice garden where you can relax after your walk.

If you’re staying in Hospital de Orbigo, I recommend Albergue Parroquial. Nice hosts, simple but clean rooms (8 persons per room), lovely garden and good kitchen. It is right on the Camino - very convinient! And only 9 euros per night.

What a lovely place is this! It is as if you enter the garden of Eden. Full of the presence of Jesus...

Camino de Sant…

One of two albergues I regret going to. Hospitalera was friendly, but I did not feel comfortable here. The sleeping areas are extremely tight with only two plugins. Because the sleeping quarters are separate, you have to go outside to go the restroom or to the kitchen. On the bright side, the courtyards were lovely, and there were 5 adorable cats roaming around the yard.
