After the Les Hospitales, this place feels like heaven. Clean, dinner at the restaurant downstairs.
Definitely worth a stay.

I can confirm all words! This is one of the best albergues, very friendly, quiet and with great dinner! Stay here

This albergue goes above and beyond! A super spacious dorm room, generous bathroom, a lounge area with a pool table and sofas, a very nice restaurant downstairs, and there’s even a pool which was not listed in the description! I walked 30km from Borres to get here and was a bit worried that maybe staying in Berducedo was better but in the end, I was extremely glad I walked the extra 4.4km. Everyone who stayed here was in good spirits!after 4 weeks walking, this is probably one of the best albergues I’ve stayed in! Ask about buying some fresh blueberries from the family farm.

It is an exciting and friendly place with the locals joining in the fun. We had a private room after walking Los Hospitales. It was clean, quiet, and had comfortable beds

After a long, wet traverse of Hospitales and then another soggy 12 K to La Mesa, Albergue Miguelin was a perfect refuge. Gracious welcome, spacious and clean rooms and common area, and the hostess did my laundry for me!(at a reasonable fee)! The €15 dinner menu was ample and delicious, and the bar well stocked. Note that this is not a classic pilgrim-centric albergue but rather the social center of the small village, with locals coming to eat and socialize. Which was great. Granted this was a rainy April with only four pilgrims, the vibe may be different in summer,

Whilst the extra 5km after walking Hospitales might not appeal, it’s definitely worth pressing on. Super clean Albergue, great bathrooms and showers, they will wash and dry your clothes and home cooked menu del dia. Really great food and very reasonable price. €15 for food.

We stayed in a private room with its own bathroom. Very clean and comfortable.
A really nice atmosphere with extremely lovely and helpful hosts. The village itself was quiet, but the eating areas inside and outside were very conducive to engaging with other pilgrims - or sitting quietly by yourself.
The food for dinner was great value - very large portions and tasty!! Breakfast was also great.
And there was a huge washing line with pegs in a nice sunny and windy position.
Highly recommended!
