I stayed at Alba y Soraya in 2022, during the walk that would form the basis of my book - 'Vagabond: A Hiker's Homage to Rural Spain' - and have stayed twice since (while researching for a new Lonely Planet guidebook). The sociable evenings spent there (and at the owner, Manuela's, great little bar in the plaza) are among the most memorable parts of my 1,225km trek. Mark Eveleigh (UK)

Staying here tonight and also stayed here in February 2019. Clean and good facilities. Manuela who runs the albergue can be found at the bar next to the Ayuntamiento.

Camino de Sant…

All the comments are tru. This is a nice little sleepy town between the mountains. With a really nice family who runs the place and the only bar at the town.

Camino de Sant…

This Albergue was great. Very friendly hospeliero. We got a private room, it looken a little bit tight in the bunk room. But there is so nice area to sit outside so thats worth a lot.
Super tasting food in the evening, cooked by the owners.
One of the best stays for us because of the garden.

Camino de Sant…

This is one of my favourite spots on the Camino de la Plata.
This is my sixth time staying here. Manuela and her husband are the best of hosts and the home cooked food is the best. I highly recommend it. Michael

Camino de Sant…

Forgot how beautiful that part of the hike is. So glad I get some time to enjoy it

Camino de Sant…

This place should not be skipped. The town is very small and sleepy, which makes for a very special and charming atmosphere. The host and her husband are also running the only bar/restaurant in town which I would highly recommend as well. Be aware that there are no supermarkets in town.
