I don't understand the hype about this albuergue. We arrived at 12pm, asking if we could leave our backpacks there to go downtown. She said no!

It is separated into women (12) and men (16) sleeping room, each had just one shower/toilet, so we had to wait a long time.
There are several rules - quiet at 9.30pm, lights off at 10pm, check-out between 6-8am. Not accepting pilgrims that don't carry their backpack. No light in the bathroom between 10pm and 6am, because the van is so noisy.
So far so good, but people didn't stick to the rules. My alarm was set to 5.35am, so I could leave at 6am, but people got up at 4.45am. The purpose of the rules, I thought, was to get a good night sleep, but that didn't really happen.
However, beds (1,90m) were okay and there were sheets, no van in the rooms though.

Stayed here 06/01/2025.

As soon as I walked in the door, I was offered a cool drink, orange slices, and a little snack by Lil, the kindest hostess you will find on the Camino. She had food cooking on the stove. Help yourself to pasta and rice and lentils. After a great night's sleep, the kitchen was laid out with jugs of coffee and pots of jam, with Lil providing toast for everyone. I had no problem with a decent donation.
Don't miss this great place to stop.

This was the best DoNativo ever! The hosts were so welcoming! We arrived after walking in the rain all day long dot the host had a warm meal and hot coffee and hot tea for all of us! The beds were very comfortable with real sheets and pillowcases. Bathrooms and showers were large and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was ready as we arose . We really felt cared for. I would 100% stay here again and it is a place not to be missed. It will be hard to top this albergue !

For a pilgrim this place is all that you could ask for. Wonderful host, great courtyard, comfy beds, hot shower, and a meal with other pilgrims. I would 100% stay here again!

Enjoyed my stay here! Nothing fancy, but clean and nice. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Bunk room was only half full. Nice outside area to hang out and dry clothes too.

Good location, close to main square. Very friendly hosts. Two separate dorm rooms by gender. Not large rooms and a fun friendly light dinner of salad and bean soap. You can always run down to the main square for an ice cream after dinner

Rooms are very big and bright, mattresses with plastic covers and cloth sheets and pillowcases are provided. Separate men’s and ladies sleeping areas and wash facilities. Our host was a nice guy from Germany. Place was half empty when we were there… 🙂
Pay fair price for your accommodation, this is not to take advantage of.

If you go into staying at parochial albergues not expecting much, then I think you will be pleasantly surprised by this albergue. We had really nice hospitaleiros who were helpful and made us dinner that night. The breakfast waiting for us the next morning was better than most that you would pay for. If you've been curious about staying in a parochial, this is a good first try.
