I really enjoyed my 3 day stay here, so much so that it turned into 6 days while I waited out the rain to start the Camino. Luna, Javi and Jane were always so kind and helpful. The cleaning staff were also very nice and very thorough. I loved the location—it seemed central to all I did..
Be aware that there are many bars below and next to the hostel so it can be noisy. And as I’ve been learning , there is smoking everywhere in Portugal but especially when folks are drinking. It didn’t really come into the hostel but you do have to walk by this.
I look forward to staying here in the future. It’s an excellent choice!

The cost was still worth it to me, but everywhere I read said 17€. Besides that the great part about it is it is right on the route and from the cathedral, if you take the route, it is right after all the hills, so you start the next morning with a level terrain for most of Day 1!
