This albergue is about 400 meters off of the camino between Triacastela and Samos, or more specifically between San Cristovo do Real and Renche. The way is well signed. Worth passing through Triacastela to stay here but do bring groceries.

I had the whole place to myself on May 15! The hostess was very nice and welcoming.
The building is an old palace and is beautiful!
As mentioned in previous reviews, there is no food here so you have to bring your own. There are also no cookware or utensils so keep that in mind when buying your food.

This renovated estate/fort is a quiet but large facility. Just off the trail, via main road that runs parallel to trail across the river. Good signage from San Cristovo de Real. I had the place to myself, May 8, 2024. Very modern inside, but Must bring your own food, no bars or restaurants nearby. Does have Very basic kitchen. Does not provide blankets, though a heater was provided in small dorm room where I was placed.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed here in May 2015-worth stepping off the route to stay in this amazing old palace with contemporary extension. We were the only 2 staying there. So peaceful. Basic kitchen facilities-do bring your own food.
