Marlene was a splendid hostess, we were welcomed into her home ( was originally her grandmothers house) that she has restored and developed into a cosy place to spend time. A delicious home cooked donativo meal. We felt well rested and prepared for the next day

The hostess Marlene welcomed us with kindness and generosity. She cooked a wonderful dinner (donativo) for all 18 pilgrims which was a great opportunity to bond with fellow travelers. My stay here was the highlight of the Portuguese Camino.

This is the best albergue on the camino. The host is really lovely, she puts her heart into it. The albergue is really beautiful and cozy. She made us an incredible dinner. You can have tea or coffee, there are also fireplaces which felt amazing after a rainy day. It really felt like home. Definitely a must stop. Do not miss this.

Only 300m further than the official albergue. Very friendly host, clean sheets, next to the only restaurant with good Pilgrim menu.

Lovely and cozy little albergue. Right on the Camino. If I remember correctly there is a kitchen. About 5-10 minutes walk away there is a little supermarket and a restaurant. I made a reservation the night before via telephone and it worked without problem.

Marlene was a gem, as genuine and warm as it gets. She welcomed us with cold beer and some snacks, then turned the beautiful space over to us. Dinner was at the restaurant down the street, but could have been prepared in the kitchen, there being a Mercado 300 metres away.
Great stay and right on the Camino.

Marlene is one of the best hosts on the entire Camino Portugues.

Her albergue is spotless, charming, and shows a bit of traditional construction and life in the Portuguese manner. The charm and warmth of this place is unbelievable.

I loved this place and cannot understand the critical comments.
The welcome you get is warm and genuine.
I slept like a baby in the very comfortable bunk.
There is a really good restaurant just a five minute walk up the road.
The restaurant provides good food including a pilgrims menu.

Camino de Sant…

Very warm and charming. Clean place laundry, washing and drying, good breakfast too for very low price. Recommended.
