Ignore the dissenting view!!!
This is a fabulous alburgue. The young couple who are in charge of the place are the most delightful people you could encounter. Dinner was simple but delicious. The atmosphere was convivial and fun.
And you are in an alburgue so working around facility use is part of the experience. For the person who had a long whinge on the 20th what do you expect for €13!!!
Do yourself a favour, if it suits try this fabulous alburgue out!

The room attached to the bar which forms the aubergue is warm and clean. The shower has plenty of hot water and the beds are comfortable and the bunks don’t creak too much.
Well that’s the good. What’s not so good is the only shower and toilet are in the same space and there is only one for twelve people. Which makes for a long wait in the morning. And there is no social space. You are on you bunk or you go to the bar next door. You will have to have the meal as this is in the middle of nowhere. There is literally nothing in this village. And the food is the worst I have had on the whole Camino. When I asked what it would be I was told there would be three courses and the main would be pork or chicken. What we got was a very poor lentil soup with one tiny slice of baguette. The main was not a choice, we got some tinned peas with some sticky tomato sauce and a couple of meatballs and another slice of baguette. And a little pit of walls vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, which was the best bit of the meal. Do yourself a favour and walk past this town unless you have no choice.

Very fun place, food was good with vegetarian options. Everyone was helpful and friendly. It was loud but quieted down about 10pm.

We walked 30 km with the last five in the pouring rain. The room was spotless and warm. The pilgrims' dinner was delicious and generous. Terrific place!

Definitely worth a stop here. The owner is both friendly & super knowledgeable.

The albergue is small & if you’re lucky, you will have the front two bunks which are almost like a single room. It’s super cosy in Winter.

Don’t tell anyone - some upper bunks have a view of the stars!

You could wash your clothes out on the line in the fresh air - with all the wind, they will dry fast.

The meal - three courses of complex vegetable soup, pork & lemon cream. It was super impressive.

There is nothing to see & nothing to do here. But it’s nice and homely and comfortable.

Normally I would have stayed in the albergue dorm here but a minor issue lead me to splurge to a private room - it was well worth it! Toasty warm, space inside and out to hang up washed or damp clothing (useful in October). Dinner was decent enough with a giant bowl of pasta followed by pistou (vegetable stew) with an egg and rice. The dorm too was heated!

We are so glad we walked the extra few kms to stay here, our room is fantastic, everything is so clean, real sheets and towels, the food is amazing, we had a ceaser salad for lunch, everything was so fresh. One of our best stops so far, I definitely recommend this albergue.

I was initially sceptical about the Albergue part of the hostal but it’s totally fine / per normal albergues. 9 beds spread through the room.
Dinner though was incredible for a Camino meal, several options so I went for a lovely Spanish vegetable stew (like ratatouille) with rice and a tasty cheesecake.
