At the gate, there's a big sign showing all the services with the price clearly shown as 12 euros.
I was exhausted, so I went in looking forward to stopping for the day.
The guy on reception took down my passport details and stamped my credential.
I handed over a 20 euro note and given six euros change.
I pointed out that the sign on the gate clearly stated 12 euros.
He handed me another 2 euros, which indicated to me that he was trying to rip me off.
If he does this a few times a day, he will be pocketing a lot of money...thieving...
Another guy showed me to my allotted bed in a very crowded room full of cheap looking bunks.
My bed was tight against the door, meaning everyone would have been passing, giving me little privacy.
I refused to stay and demanded a refund, which was given.
I walked another kilometre up to the parochial albergue where I had a great stay.

Very friendly staff. They have a cafe that serves food. In the middle of the night I woke up with bed bugs on my pillow. They were all over the wall. I was in the room with four single beds (not bunks beds). We left in the middle of the night to clean our belongings and sleep in a hotel.

The albergue is friendly and the staff is nice, just be careful of bed bugs.

What a welcoming sight, brightly coloured flags from different countries flapping in the sunshine. Greeted warmly at Reception and received a free orange juice (I must have looked exhausted). The whole Albergue was very clean, plenty of tables and chairs both in the restaurant and outside. Laundry facilities spot on. Very relaxing stay, highly recommend.

We were greeted by a gentleman by the name Angel. He greeted our party of 4 with a delicious glass of juice. He quickly checked us into our room and carried our luggage to our rooms. He was very helpful! From helping us with the washing machine and dryer to later serving us our dinner, Angel and his colleague Aimar have been the most helpful individuals we have met on our Camino. Just as we were giving up on the kindness of folks in some of the many we have gone through, God put these two individuals in our path❤️

If the weather was warm instead of cool and wet, I may have enjoyed this place more as it has some nice outdoor spaces.

However, I got the impression that they were in it to make money. The dinner was poor and it's a long way into town.

We had a dip in the pool. Got a glass of OJ when we arrived. Laundry facilities are good. Beds were nice . Dinner was very good. Was not very full when I stayed. I recommend this place

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

What an oasis! Free cold drink on arrival. Friendly staff, lovely rooms and great food. All that plus a swimming pool. €31 for bed, breakfast and 3 course meal, with a drink. Only downside for some maybe breakfast doesn't start until 7am.

This place is just as you come into the town, it’s great. Has all the things you will need that you do not even have to go into the town. Had great pilgrims dinner with good choice. The hosts were lovely - the waiters seemed a bit off- might have been a day. In the summer a great place to stop has an outdoor pool. The rooms are great with lots of room to move around. Bunks are nicely spaced. Only three of us in a six bed room. Showers were great, but not a lot of space to put your things so that they do not get wet. Walking out to get back on the route was easy but what you save in coming into this place at end of day you then add to your walk at the beginning of the day. Still worth staying here.
