This is, without a doubt, the best albergue on the Camino del Norte. It is simple, uncrowded, and offers an atmosphere perfectly suited for rest and recovery.

We were the first to arrive, settled in quickly, and had the rare chance to cook our own meals for both lunch and dinner — something we hadn’t been able to do in the past two weeks. Most other albergues either have no kitchen, or if they do, guests are discouraged from using it.

Here, laundry service was included in the modest €12 fee for the bed, along with full use of the kitchen. We felt no sense of being taken advantage of — only genuine gratitude. Thanks go to Marina!

La Llosa de Cosme sets a gold standard that other albergues along the Camino should aspire to follow.

Best place ever like the others have said. Book it if you can. 6 beds in a beautiful little house with an incredible little kitchen out of your hiking dreams. Our clothes were washed and folded for us!! So cozy and great way to break up the walk!

One of the best albergues period… just bring food! We had the MOST amazing time! Shower is nice, owner is so friendly, she washes clothes for no cost, she invited me in early and dint say anything….
So great.. extra blankets and cute animals

This tiny little albergue was very good. It was clean, there is a kitchen outside, the friendly owner washed our clothes for free, breakfast with oats and milk and that all for 12 euros.

This was one of my favourite spots. So welcoming, clean with a wonderful breakfast. A must not miss.

In the village, if your name is “Alesha” the towns people give you flowers and cheesecake. Nice stay and very nice Albergue

Right on the way and only six beds, but big yard to relax in. Bring food because there is none in town. Well equipped kitchen. They will do your laundry too. Recommended.

The albergue is in a cottage within the owner's compound. There's only 6 bunks with an attached bathroom and kitchen. The owner is super nice and will ask if you have any clothes for washing after settling you in. Can be a big cold when the temperature drops but if you have your sleeping bag, all is good.

I enjoyed my stay here. Such nice people. Did my washing for free. Very clean accommodation and everything you need for cooking. Just buy food in the village before. Peaceful.
