We arrived today assuming we had reserved two beds. The operators advised that the number was the previous owner and they do not understand why he is accepting reservations. They were very accomodating and luckily we still got beds. Hopefully the app developer can follow up to update the phone number, +34 643 32 31 74 is incorrect. The correct number is 613 251 499 (Jose Luis). Hope this helps avoid any future issues for the albergue and pilgrims.

On this particular day it must’ve been slow bc I had the whole dorm to myself. Super nice hospitaleros, a block away from a nice quiet bar/cafe that was open early. Clean, quiet, adequate accommodations. On the near side of the river away from all the tourist attractions.

I reserved a bed on booking.com that said “bed in 10 bed room.” However, when I got here, turns out the ten-bed section is basically like a loft, with twenty beds underneath. So you can hear snoring from down below. On top of that, there’s one drying rack for laundry for the 30 people who can stay here. The facility itself seems of lower quality than the other places I’ve stayed for 12 euros, too. There’s dust under the beds, the hospitalero forgot to give me and some others who came in later the disposable bed cover, i went to go ask and got one, but noticed some people slept on the beds without it since he forgot. The hostal owner also has multiple signs saying no eating or drinking in the bedrooms or you will be expelled. Not sure if that’s because spilling food would also mean he would have to clean up the dust bunnies under the beds? It’s not a terrible place to stay, but so far the worst one i’ve stayed since SJPDP.
