Very kind welcoming Hosts and staff . Quiet rooms , big bathroom and the Pilgrims meal was above average and plentiful. Bar open for breakfast a plus .

Nice clean albergue with a blanket provided. You could get a pilgrims meal for 12€ if you wanted or the bar also offered food. There is only a microwave in the albergue so if you bring your own food then bear that in mind. There was a hand washing place or you could also wash and dry your clothes for 4€ each.

It was quite a long walk (for me) from Santiago but I’m glad I put in the extra kilometres. The albergue is a nice oasis with friendly bar/reception staff and a great dinner host. Dinner and wine were unlimited. They kept on bringing out both until everyone was full and happy. My dorm only slept four, with two beds unoccupied, so very private for a change. Showers and toilets could be more numerous (they are always combined in one, so when someone is taking a long shower, the loo is blocked to). It turned out this wasn’t a problem in the morning though, as everyone had left before us. So it pays off to get up late :) Breakfast is from 7 a.m.

Up a short flight of stairs from the Camino. Lovely quiet garden, best private showers, only four beds to a room. Dinner was delicious and ample ( now 12 euros) with everyone at a long table. Really fun..

Very nice albergue - the price is now €17 for the night and €10 for the 3course home-made dinner with wine, water and bread. We also got a small chupito of cordial at the end of our meal. The hosts were very friendly, the radiators were on, the water in the showers also. Great place to end day 1.

Camino de Sant…

Lovely food and delicious coffee. Need to update the icons for this town! It is only 100-200 m from the path and can rejoin easily.
