Une auberge qui plaira aux nostalgiques de la partie française, voie du Puy. Repas en commun, généreux. Hospitalière française et polyglotte (2024), qui sait quels sont les besoins des pèlerins. Une étape très chaleureuse

I came here to wait out a storm only to be brought back by a different storm coming in the opposite direction.

This place is magic and has a very human element to it that is hard to place. I think it comes from the diversity, the goose, the german man, the Ukrainian women, the location, all working together to make this place feel very genuine. I absolutely enjoyed my stay

The staff are absolutely lovely here. I left behind my "after walking" clothes in the bathroom. Not only did they help arrange transport of them to my next albergue, but when they arrived they had been washed and a very thoughtful note had been tucked in there as well. (An extra special thanks to Polina :) ) Also a delicious communal dinner!!

This hostel is just lovely

A Germany host, a working farm - with a goose as a guard

And Ukrainian refugee families as a base

Incredible food (including borscht!) atmosphere, etc

Not just a “pilgrim island” loss of locals using this bar as their local, chatting, playing guitar Etc

The perfect albergue

Wow, what a pleasure to have been able to stay in such a warm place. ☀️ Dinner is definitely worth it !!
The living room, the kitchen and the bedroom are really very well furnished and decorated.

Musical atmosphere near the bar is great 🍻 really a great place to relax!

Thank you all! A place that breathes the atmosphere and philosophy of the camino 💯💫🙏

The Albergue opens next week due to the cold. Theres no heater. The owner was very kind. Served coffee when I needed it most and offered help and was thinking with me for another place to stay.

It’s a very small village and, from the trail, even looks more like a farm complex. We weren’t sure if I’m to be honest. But we got here and any concerns disappeared, immediately. What a delightful place this is. It’s quirky. Shared with a number of sheep, donkeys and a goose. The host is a delight. She’s lovely. A ready smile at all times. Our beds, I’m sure, are memory foam. Very comfortable! We had the pilgrims meal including wine. Three courses without dessert and we simply couldn’t finish it. Plus, a bottle of wine. Our stay here, including beds and meal with wine was €38 in total. Nobody could grumble. Superb value for money and a really peaceful retreat.

What a fun place! We didn't stay here but stopped for a drink and the place has awesome vibe: music, huge lawn with animals (donkeys, geese, ducks, chicks). Wonderful place to relax and meet people.

The alburgue is clean and funky. Variety of sleeping options: dorm, cabins, even a teepee. What really shines though is the communal meal. Lovingly prepared, at least 7 dishes, and served with a glad heart. Highly recommend if you aren’t on the rigid “stages”. Oh and a lovely fire after dinner.
