If you're looking for a hostel that has preserved the true spirit of the Camino, then this is the place for you.
I want to warmly thank Fernando and his wife, who have managed to maintain this spirit of hospitality so dear to pilgrims, with skill, generosity, and genuine kindness.
On top of that, the place is beautiful, ideally located — just two minutes from the center yet away from the hustle and bustle — and impeccably clean.
A haven of peace that soothes and revitalizes all those seeking calm and serenity after a beautiful day of walking in a privileged setting.

It was comfortable enough less than half full, but there are only two shower/toilet rooms and I could see that not being sufficient when full. There was no laundry machine, but it looked like they have one they are working on. It was pretty cold today but they don't have the furnace on.
Friendly staff.

Ferdinand is running this place absolutely fantastic. Using all bunkbeds in all rooms so people had private beds. Well done and buen camino

It was a rainy, blustery and cold day from Astorga. A bed race was on so I panicked and took the first thing open that I could find after 3 others were full. What a gem! Nice, helpful hospitalarios settled us in. Two spartan shower/bath combos. 18 beds but only 7 claimed so could spread out stuff on the top bunk. Outdoor laundry basin with lots of line and pegs and wind and sunshine to dry laundry. Then, as the temperature dropped, a fire burning furnace was switched on that made the room glow and be cozy. Plenty of blankets.

Telephoned 2 days before but told no need to book as plenty of beds. Arrived today 25th November. Note on door to say choose a bed and they will be along later. I chose a bed, after an hour I was so cold, I had to leave and walk on another 3.5miles. It was warmer outside than inside.

Very friendly staff, comfortable facilities, they had space when I came in after walking 40 kilometers and made me feel immediately at home. Recommend. Good facilities in a great place.
