I must say, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived in this albergue. It is very big, the building is huge and beautiful. The staff all speeks very good english. It gave me more hotel vibes than albergue.
I was dissapointed by the dinner tho, cost me 16€ and ended up being a watery soup for starters, potato-tortilla for main dish and a piece of cantaloup for dessert. Not worth the money. Other than that I was happy with my stay.

Fabulous!! Spotless. Interesting architecture. Warm and friendly. Good food. 10 out of 10. 🙏

Definitely an interesting place. The rooms were very nice and the terrace had absolutely stunning views over the whole area!
Dinner could have been more substantial but the breakfast buffet was very good.

The hospitalero was delightful and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but they were the shaky metal bunk beds. I liked having a locked cupboard for my things. It was an odd set up with the sinks being a distance away from the toilet but it worked ok. It definitely had the feeling of an old palace - stone stairs, rounded stone archways. I enjoyed the celery soup and tortillas at supper.

Very clean and modern. The accommodations provided cribs for babies, extra beds, excellent ventilation, and the construction of thick stone walls provided a perfect temperature!!! Rooms were quiet. Bed, pillows, sheets and towels were comfortable. Extra blankets were provided. The pilgrims dinner included a touching tribute to pilgrims and the community of the Camino. An absolute MUST stay on my WAY.

Beautiful building and lovely private room, shower not very clean!
We paid €13 each for pilgrims menu which was a bowl of celery soup & bread, 2 slices of tortilla, slice of watermelon and a yogurt plus glass wine and water, when you’ve walked 28 km that’s not really good enough so would not recommend but not sure there anywhere else to eat!
Sansol seems to consist of just few old buildings and nothing else! Would avoid if possible.

One of the coolest places I've stayed in at the camino because it's a restored palace. It seems more like a hotel than an albergue! Very well kept. Lovely living room with couches ro relax on and even a tv with netflix. Nice terasse with beautiful views. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. The owner is a nice old man who only talks Spanish but the volunteers talk English. The only minus was the dinner which I didn't think was good, I would rather have gone to a restaurant

Restored castle. Owner cooked dinner and had a great Camino vibe.

Super clean. Renovated in 2022 so all is yet to be destroyed. The bunk beds themselves are quiet when the person above you tosses and turns. We all know what I’m talking about.

Great laundry facilities. Decent shower — my only complaint, the showers are all together and no changing areas which makes it a bit tight.

Yummy dinner and the owner and staff are all welcoming.
