Very nice place. Clean, spacious living area. Pool was a bonus, very cold! Bit of walk to town for dinner etc but nice along the river.
Easy entry if you get there early. Kitchen stocked for basic cooking. Drying racks for laundry.

I and another Peregrino had the place to ourselves, very new, well appointed, clean, comfortable - great value for the price. It’s about a kilometer before Esposende. In town, you’ll find great restaurants overlooking the bay and sunset – easy walk, bike ride (provided by hostel), or Uber hop.

Good beds! I had the best sleep since starting out from Porto. The hosts were attentive to our need in search of a cafe that opens early for our desire to start walking as early as we can. Location is not desirable in terms of finding meals or buying groceries although you can borrow bikes (thoughtful touch). I would suggest having a supply of simple food items on site for purchase might be helpful to pilgrims.

We slept well & the albergue was clean and very neat. Owner takes pride in his establishment. Kitchen facilities & a pool to cool off tired legs! Very nice shower! Around the corner is 'Anonymous' sushi bar - there were other options on the menu too & the staff were friendly and helpful - recommended.
This stop is before you get into town - we walked passed & had to turn back ;-)
