Nice restoration on an older building; beds and bathrooms were substantial with privacy curtains a plus. Marcello was not cooking the night we stayed (a Friday) so we were disappointed, but we found excellent pasta at “Pasta,” a local restaurant. We paid for laundry service but our clothes weren’t dry; fortunately, the heat from the wood-burning stove dried them overnight and our fellow guests were okay with laundry hanging everywhere!

October 2023 - I really enjoyed my stay at Casina Di Marcello. At first glance you might think, it’s outside of town and than you arrive…. Marcello is a pilgrim who has walked the Camino and he provides the little extras that make this Albergue special. Sheets and blankets, a towel, curtains at the bunks for privacy and places to plug in your devices. We had a wonderful pilgrim meal. I truly enjoyed my stay here.

We came from outside Galicia and were charged €18, not €15 as it says on the app. But it was a nice place and a delicious dinner.

Marcello was a wonderful host and cooked a delicious Italian dinner! It was so fun chatting with everyone from all over the world about their Camino experience. Clean and comfortable beds and bathrooms. Would definitely stay again!

Marcello is a wonderful host. Fun, entertaining and prepares a wonderful Italian meal. Had us all laughing. A highlight of our Camino

It’s on the way out of town on a quiet street. Marcelo is a great host. Lovely meal. Real sheets and nice privacy screens on each bunk. Power and light at each bunk. Nice

I have stayed here twice and could not recommend this stay more. The owner, Marcello is a pilgrim who came to pick is up in the rain today on the Primitivo… dinner is home made and he eats with you, we all eat together. The beds use real sheets and you get fresh towels. By far one of my favourites!

Camino de Sant…

Great place. It has one double room in addition to dorm. Building used to be a prison so very interesting architecture. Feels like you are staying at a family house - tons of character. Hostiliero has done the Camino and got inspired to start the albergue so it has a great Camino feel. Communal dinner was a great Italian meal. Highly recommend!

Camino de Sant…

Nice and clean, cozy, and Marcelo greets you warmly and takes care of your needs. Best night in my Camino, highly recommended
