María was very welcoming and the 7 pm communal dinner as well as the 7 am breakfast! This albergue closes end of October- and usually opens in March I believe!

Maria is a host who exemplifies the camino spirit of generosity and sharing.
We had a lovely evening meal- a tomato based stew served with rice and with fried eggs. So it's suitable for vegetarian diets but hearty to satisfy the carnivores!
Breakfast too-was great - both served at 7:00.
Maria is truly a wonderful host- highly recommend this as a stop on your Camino there is everything a living room where one can hang out in the afternoon and evening.
I was able to borrow a yoga mat and enjoyed a much needed stretch! Slept great on good mattress

Me and my friend really enjoyed stay at this albergue that is run by a hospitable lady Maria. She’s so welcoming and helping with everything you need. A clean and atmospheric place near the church, tasty dinner and breakfast together with other pilgrims. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. If you’re considering saying somewhere near San Martin - I can recommend this place. Enjoy!

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Had the incredible honour to be the first pilgrim when this donativo Albergue re-opened by an amazingly kind new host- Maria. The place is perfection!! Dorm rooms and double rooms, gorgeous and comfortable common areas, a piano, books, games and art supplies. Washing facilities and good bathrooms. Lovely outdoor area with a stunning view. An older building, but clean and with a homey unique character that makes an impact. Don’t miss this spot!! ❤️❤️

Dinner and breakfast are provided (donativo); if you need shopping do it in Salinas before you arrive- you don’t want to climb that hill twice.

P.S. Check Google review for photos- such. A cute spot!!

Camino de Sant…

Worth the small climb. Jose Antonio was our host and he was amazing. As there was no one else in the Albergue when we arrived he offered to drive us to the supermarket in Salinas.
He waited while we shopped, showed us the beach and then took us back to the Albergue. Jose kindly shared his lunch with us and then we relaxed in the sitting room while Jose played an eclectic mix of music in the background and we felt privileged to be in such a lovely environment. All the amenities you need. Don’t let this one pass you by.

Camino de Sant…

Jose has been the best. He drove us to Salinas for dinner supplies, and has had the best music selection playing to accompany a wonderful home-cooked meal. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here if given the chance! Be careful getting here though, we followed the Camino arrows, and it led us way off course to getting here, but we noticed quickly, and were able to follow the street signs to get us here.
