Staying in Los Herrerias at Casa Do Ferreiro is such a delight. Beautiful facility, comfortable and clean private room and bath. Maria and Maria are perfect hosts.

There are times in the Camino when you have to stop. Yesterday was pouring down rain in Molinaseca and I hurt my foot very badly as I turned it in a rock. I messaged ahead to Maria and told her I wouldn’t make my booking ad requested that she cancel my reservation. I knew she would have NO problem renting the room as she’s already fully booked and it’s 36 hours in advance. She told me to go to Booking.com to do it and then charged me. No full cancellation, no waiving of fees. It was incredibly unkind and underhanded—injuries will happen. And when you have to book ahead, be prepared to pay if you get hurt.

The hosts Maria along with her Mum Maria (cook) made our stay here perfect. Young Maria speaks English and was super accommodating towards our needs. Room was warm, lovely bed, with hot water shower. Please do not hesitate to stop here, as it will not disappoint. Thank you
