. On the negative side there were a lot of noise from the road outside and it was cold at night. Use earplugs!

Nice quirky albergue with self service food and drink with honesty box.
Thought it was odd to see a jar of ear plugs in the kitchen till I went to bed. Heavy road noise all night and dogs barking, which the ear plugs have little or no affect over.
No heating ; cold.

Great facilities, food available, wine and beer. My room was private, spacious with a lovely large bathroom that was shared. Carlos Rios, a peligrino was hospitaleir. He is also that man who has done many beautiful murals along the way. I recommend this albergue.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Stayed in a 10-bed room and it was spotless, airy, clean and welcoming. It’s a very organised hostel, all the necessary facilities, plus a nice sitting areas in both shade and sun.
Hostel owner was very responsive over WhatsApp - although I needed Google-translate - but that’s my failing to speak Portuguese!

Stayed in this albergue in 2019 and it was ok. However stayed again in 05/09/2022 and the place seemed more rundown. One of their dogs kept me awake by barking throughout the night. The noise from the trucks on the road outside during the night was also irritating. Ear plugs were no use. Got many mosquito bites in the dormitory during the night too.
Host was friendly though.

Camino de Sant…

Good Albergue, welcomed with cake at the bar. Warm comfortable room. Gave us a ride to a great restaurant and picked us up again.

Camino de Sant…

Full kitchen, kind of weird bathroom facilities, but comfy room and beds. Just next to the highway. The cafe nearby is great.

Camino de Sant…

Not so clean, nobody speak english, but you can buy some food and drinks by own, which was great for the evening. Super is awfull

Camino de Sant…

Welcoming host but speaks no English. The good smell in the rooms is misleading, they are actually dirty just like the bathrooms and the kitchen. Even saw a bedbug there this morning. I wouldn’t go to this place again for sure.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed Nov 2019. they had no power for lights or for cooking so used a wood oven to supply the meal that was “by donation” so I overpaid a full 10 euros for a small amount that I felt awkward eating in the company of the residents (who were not exactly owners or hospitaleros. more like, lost folks who had found some kind of refuge).
5 dogs, no heat (a portable heater was offered to me but with the power going out for hours at a stretch, it did me no good). Empty reptile tanks in need of cleaning, and half finished bathrooms through half finished kitchen.
Had my knee not had more than enough on this day I would have walked on 5 k to the Catholic Refugio that was the next closest place to stay.
