This is a small village and not many choices for accommodations. The other private casa was closed when I visited in July. This is a casa with private rooms and baths, a restaurant on site. It has a remote check-in via what’s app information from the management. Seemed very impersonal on check-in as I got in and to my room without problem but not much atmosphere. Perhaps due to low season. The room was lovely but needs screens to prevent flies coming in. Bathroom clean. Dinner was served downstairs and the chef was very good. Standard pilgrim choices but a bit more upscale. The staff I did meet were very nice.

I was passing by and after days and days of eating tortilla and waking to 2 degree weather to walk in, I was dying for something warm. The lady tending the bar said she could check and see what she had available but that for sure she had bocadillo and salad.she came back with either asparagus soup or chickpea stew!! I love her!! The chickpea stew was amazing and hit the spot!!

I had fantastic stay in this Casa. The rooms are modern rural style and so clean. My room had enormous balcony to dry my stuff in the sun. Friendly staff and good food in the restaurant below. From November only open in weekends, better to call in advance.
