What a wonderful host Nate is - friendly, informative and very helpful. Kindly assisted us on a couple of issues we were experiencing. Bathrooms clean on arrival, lovely outside area, nice clean pool, good laundry facilities for both hand and machine washing (3€). Lots of line space. Able to utilise cutlery, plates, glasses etc. Kettle and cold water available.
Had a great feed next door at the bar - nice range and well priced.
Overall stay very nice - a friendly host certainly makes a difference! Thanks Nate.

The pool is nice, the host is friendly, the garden is nice.

But 30 beds in a room? Not my favorite…

I found this albergue to be one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in so far. The owner keeps it up really nicely. The pool was lovely, also very clean and there is a large grassy garden which is a great place to relax. Really nice stay for the money.

Natanael has only owned this alburgue since March and has great plans for improvement over winter, but you cannot fault it for €10 per night. He’s a thoughtful host and can ‘hablas Ingles’ if you need it as he used to work as a chef in the UK.

The host was friendly, and had a useful sheet of information, in case you'd had a long day, and couldn't remember everything, like when breakfast was, or where the laundry was. Having to go down to the Hostel for dinner was a bit of a slog after a long day, but the food was good, and it was nice socialising with the other pilgrims staying there. The dorm room was clean, and while the bathroom needs an update, the host made it clear that was coming, and he'd only hag the place since March.

Stayed 10 May 2023. Felt like a different experience from the rest of the reviews. Host is super friendly but maybe telling us on check -in that someone described it as, "the best albergue on the Camino" was not helping set expectations. I can't help but feel like the food descriptions are for the restaurant at HOSTAL Peregrinos Camino Real around the corner, which was good, and I think the only thing open, and was recommended by the albergue host (I think they said they're relatives).

Bunks were super-packed, e.g. my head was maybe 1 ft away from my neighbor's feet. Classic 1 chair + maybe 3 outlets for every 8 people. Mixed toilets and showers with flimsy doors and not terribly clean. The biggest problem is the albergue ran out of water?! None out of the taps, let alone for showers or toilets. Eventually it was restored, but we rushed to fill our water bottles just in case. I didn't have the donativo breakfast bc the host was weirdly strict with no one touching anything (even coffee) before his appointed time and felt slightly aggressive in the expectation of the donativo/rationing of the breakfast.

Ultimately, this was one of those places to rest your head, worry about getting clean another day, and get out as early as possible.

We stayed here May 13,2023. One room with many bunks. Shared showers and toilets. Good hot water. Gave us blankets. He had a donation breakfast with toast, coffee, cereal, muffins, all kinds off good stuff. Pool was not open. There’s a washer and dryer for 4 euros each. Plenty of room to dry clothes out on the lines too. Overall pleasant stay.

Great host, so kind and hospitable, he gave us a lot of attention and made great effort for us all to feel great. All the little things a piligrim needs are equiped - blankets, soap, even detergent, etc. Love the place. Also dont miss the bar (only one in the village) - great people and delicious food.

I’m staying here tonight (it’s open throughout the winter) and I love it. The views, sitting outside, are fabulous; nothing but fields and countryside all around and so peaceful. The bar plays music inside and out, so quite lively too, but you can choose where to be for what you want.
Beds 10€; pilgrim menu 14€; washer and dryer 4€ each (plus lines in the sun to dry clothes); good bar serving pinchos, bocadillos, platos combinados, so many eating options; central heating and blankets; and plenty of tables/chairs to sit, read and write, either in the garden, bar or separate conservatory. Will definitely be back here in future.

I messaged them today, they’re open.
