It’s 830 going on 9… good time to have a party/ choir practice in the albergue….

Modern spacious Albergue but it’s a big sound box with open ceilings. If someone takes a dump in the downstairs bathroom you can hear the splash in the bedrooms upstairs. Who designed this place? They sure didn’t try sleeping there.

At 9:00 p.m., when everyone was either in bed or preparing for bed, a group of 10 locals assembled in the common room downstairs with drums, tambourines, and beat on the instruments and sing full volume. It doesn’t matter to them that there are signs posted saying to respect the quiet. The racket was unbearable. If you want to be able sleep at night, walk on to Silleda. Also, the mosquitoes (no window screens) assist in ruining the night’s sleep. Other than that, the place is okay.
