There are lots of lovely almonds all around and stones to have a quick breakfast while walking

There are almond trees planted along the path leaving Pamplona to Muruzabal. There aren’t many fruits this late in the season on the trees but you can find quite a few still good nuts that have fallen around the base of the trees. Some previous pilgrims have even left particularly good rocks to crack the hard exterior shells.

Bar is open for lunch from 2pm. Has a small selection of food available at all times. Good coffee.

Camino de Sant…

Albergue Muruzabal, a cosy, clean comfortable home from home stay. The hosts are so helpful bed was comfortable and the breakfast light but good with the best homemade smoothie I've had. The pub in the village is friendly, and even though the restaurant was not open they made us a lovely fresh crispy salad with omelette that hit the spot.
