I had the delightful pleasure of staying at this albergue after a short day’s walk from Grandas de Salime, which I’d decided to do to make the next day to Fonsagrada a little easier. I arrived early enough that I had plenty of time to visit the nearby Museo del Chao Samartin, which I highly recommend, before checking in. Hospitaleras Natalia and Dora were absolutely welcoming and friendly, so patient with my patchy Spanish and able to fill in gaps with English. The home cooked food was fresh and delicious: I enjoyed tortilla, sopa lentilla, and boquerones looking at the gorgeous mountain view.

Small dormitories of 4 beds. Great selection of home made food all day at a great price. Combined with Maria’s warm hospitality this is a great place to stay.

Camino de Sant…

This place is an oasis! However, it does fill up quickly, and there are no albergues for 10 km beyond it so make a reservation. The food is the best I have ever had on the Camino, with lots of veggies. The hosts are wonderful and the backyard is a great place to spend the day.

Camino de Sant…

What a beautiful place! Incredibly friendly hosts and a big garden to hang out for the rest of the day! You can buy breakfast there, but it's not included as mentioned here.

Camino de Sant…

Great old building in beautiful countryside. Hosts are very nice and speak good English. Big garden out back and a restaurant open all day. Dinner 4.5€ and breakfast about 3.5€ can be purchased. Very charming.

Camino de Sant…

A truly special albergue with a nice vibe to or, very clean and well organised by the two lovely ladies running it, great food and the 3 of us travelling together had a basket of clothes washed and dried a real luxury. You can book the day before
