We were lucky to get a bed here at 13.30 in the day - only 2 beds left after us. No reservations. Grumpy looking landlord was actually quite nice & very accomodating. Small dorms of only 4 or 6 beds & each with it's own en suite shower & toilet which was great. Dorms are pretty small but there's a wardrobe for your bags. Very grateful to have the radiators on until 10pm as it was so cold & windy outside. It ended up being very hot in the dorm but it meant the clothes we washed dried quickly. There are clothes airers in the back garden but it was too windy & no pegs. There is a coin operated washer & a dryer downstairs. Nice bar/communal area with games available. We played Spanish scrabble which was fun. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. Lovely pub in the village with a burger van that I would recommend!

Good place to stay. Bank cards are accepted. I paid 13 euros for a bed and 13 euros for dinner. Dinner was very tasty.

From the outside it looks very nice, the bar is very new. But when you go upstairs to your room you will feel like a chicken because of the very small space. Wouldn’t recommend

The albergue looks nice going in, and after you pay your shown the most cramped room imaginable with three bunk beds squished so close together you can hardly walk between them.
We were so appalled by the space that we left without getting our money back, in hopes that the beds we left would leave enough space for the others in the room to breathe in.
“There’s a bath in each room”
There’s a closet of a toilet about 30 cm away from the first bunk bed.

KEEP WALKING !!!

We stayed here - newer and clean facility with pretty good food and drink options. Bathrooms are newer etc. however, the room we stayed in was TINY for 3 sets of bunks - two people cannot be in the “aisle” at the side time. It makes getting ready in the morning impossible until at least 2 people leave. Hardly any room between the bunks. Otherwise it’s actually a pretty great place.

I don't think Ages has many pilgrims that stay there, so if you're looking for a quieter experience with a great host and small rooms then this is the place to go. Conveniently located off the trail and has everything you need without having to go into town. Breakfast was at 6:15 which is GREAT for early risers who don't want to wait until 7:30 to start walking.

Camino de Sant…

This is a lovely and modern Albergue. Rooms only have 4-6 bunks and each has its own washroom. The Jamon pintxos that he slices you hand is amazing

Camino de Sant…

This Albergue us small, each room has 4 bunkbeds and a bath. Then there is the cooking, the best pilgrim meal since we started the Camino.

Camino de Sant…

We rang and the owner said you cannot make a reservation.
They were not full, but said, just turn up and take a chance. Best to remove the reservation sign on the app?

Camino de Sant…

No reservations, still able to get beds when we arrived at about 2pm. Pilgrim meal only had a real vegetarian option in the first course, fortunately I’m pescatarian. We had a quad room to ourselves- very small- but each quad has its own bath. Very comfortable!
