Nice terrace to chill. Small rooms but clean.
Try to be prepared for dinner. There is microwave food from a vending machine but i wouldn't recommended eating that if you can avoid it
The restaurant in 1km distance was not open even if google said so

Basic but great pilgrim experience, Manuel is lovely. If you’ve got a bit of energy left in your legs, there are a couple of restaurants over the other side of the hill in La Pesa - 1km away.

In the middle of nowhere, if you have forgotten to buy something to eat some automatic machines have food to be cooked in the microwave. The kitchen is not working due to past bad behaviour of guests.
Manuél, the volunteer hospitalero, is very kind. Everything is clean, single use cover for bed is provided (but no blankets at least in August), great and unexpected showers, fantastic outside place to chill out with a view on the mountain. Long lines for clothes but also washing and drying machines.
Only pilgrims are accepted.

As others have noted, this is a albergue that is being improved slowly. Great hot showers and comfortable beds but you will need your own sleeping bag. The host provides a clothes wash. There is a nice inside and outside sitting area with a wonderful view of the valley. Remember to purchase your evening and morning food in the village prior to arrival as there is no cafes close by. There is a snack and coffee vending machine in the kitchen.

You have to have your own sleeping bag. They have only disposable sheets.

It's a nice place, a warm and friendly athmosphere. To recommend to stay.

It is clean and has hot showers and Manuel is a vigilant timekeeper and yes, there is music to start the day. He is a kind man with a good heart. I recommend him and his albergue.

Camino de Sant…

October 21 open but beware this place is in the middle of nowhere. cold showers, no dinner or breakfast available, no blankets. Guy plays music in the morning to get every one out as soon as possible, not really a warm and hospitable place. Not recommended.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed here as the popular albergue before was full. Situated next to an old church it is basic but Manuel who runs the place was friendly and the kitchen area a good place to warm up and all the facilities to cook a meal. The shower wasn’t boiling but not cold as was clean. There are a couple of vending machines for drinks including beer, crisps, chocolate and one for coffee/hot chocolate. Nice terrace area that has been renovated.
