The volunteers were friendly and we helped them prepare a great communal meal. The mats for beds are very thin but there is windows in the room for fresh air. Not alot of bathroom, shower facilities but remember there are also toilets downstairs. The communal activity in the church after supper was lovely.

This is Sept 1. Couldn’t get in until 2 pm. Decided to go to another Albergue since we were early.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

I had a great experience here, was welcomed by kind and generous hospitaleros, in the evening there was a shared meal and then they led us through a secret passageway to the church where we had a lovely and simple prayer time as a group. If you’re on the Camino for a religious or spiritual reason, I recommend staying here. Just a word of caution, the noise in the streets can get loud at night, especially on the weekends, so it’s best to close the windows.

Camino de Sant…

Highly recommend. Donation Albergue. Enjoyed helping with meal preparations, the meal and mass. Open to all faiths. Worthwhile staying if you need a place and is centrally located on the Camino trail and landmarks.

Camino de Sant…

Special hospitaleros! Basic accommodations, communal meal.

Camino de Sant…

The dorm had bedsheets that had evidence of bedbug bites, not sealed like all albergue mattresses I encountered in Navarra. Not enough toilets and showers. Meal had not one scrap of protein in it.
Hospitaleros were very kind and deep with Camino spirit.

Camino de Sant…

Basic dorm room and shower/toilet facilities. You help prepare the evening meal which you then all share together before going to the church for an evening prayer (if you want to join in) Would highly recommend

Camino de Sant…

We are open to pilgrims now (May 2021).
I am currently working as a Voluntary Hospitalera at the donativo refugio, which is part of the Parish and Church of Santiago El Real in Logroño. I can confirm that we are open and welcoming pilgrims and that we provide dinner and breakfast for anyone who would like it.
