The Road

The roads in these parts, you may have noticed, are a web of country lanes which are not altogether very straightforward. Leaving Piñera you may or may not cross the railway line twice. But you will certainly return to the N-634 for a brief strech of walking along the road.

It leave to the right onto another path and passes through Villaoril.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

This is a spacious, well equipped municipal albérgue. At 8€ you cannot possibly go wrong. Thrilled to find a washing machine. Hostess told us about a wonderful coastal route between Pinera and Navia—just amazing and well worth the extra steps!

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

The dinner option was no longer available. There was a serviceable kitchen and a small supermarket about 700 metres away, so no problem. Just choose a bed, and the hospitalero arrives in the afternoon to check you in. Lovely young lady with great advice as to walking options. Fun.

Camino de Sant…

Very nice albergue! Sweet and helpfull hospitaleros who offer a really nice homemade dinner! Also vegetarian option, and possible also vegan if you ask. Nice patio/backyard and a sofa inside where you kan chill. A good place to relax!

Camino de Sant…

There is a Municipal Albergue here. About 24 beds. Seems to be open all day but the hospitalero checks in at about 3:00. 6€ for the night. They also offer dinner for 9€. Nice place. Clean and quiet since most pilgrims push on to either Navia or La Caridad. Not many services but there is a small store about half a kilometre away.
