We sat out in the courtyard having drinks and visiting. The owner sat inside in the corner and watched us. He came out right before 10 and very abruptly and mean told us the courtyard is closed-we lost track of time.
He and his wife were angry and ended up arguing loudly with one of our friends that asked for a
blanket-they did not want anything to do with her and were yelling.
In the morning, we thought check-out was at 8 like all the other places-there was no mention of this when we checked in. The owner waited until 7:20 to tell us we had to be gone at 7:30. He then stood there in a threatening way while we scrambled to gather our things and get out.
This man was the worst! He is a very angry person that seems not to like being a host.

The man that checked me in was very friendly and although he didn't speak English well, and my Spanish is terrible, he still made an effort to communicate with me.
Best thing at this albergue....there was thick foam wrapped around the runs for the ladder on the bunk beds!!! My feet have never been more thankful!
There was also a pellet stove in the we room so it was quite warm.
There were no meals offered here but there are several restaurants and bars nearby.

Ospitalero molto scortese antipatico con maniere arroganti…stanze con tanta umidità…se potete evitate di fermarvi da lui avete tutto da guadagnare

We had no reservation but our host could not have been more helpful or sensitive to our needs. He gave both of us bottom bunks when he noticed we both wore knee braces. This albergue is clean, well-appointed, and in a great location. For €14 it’s more than a bargain! I highly recommend!

We had a good stay here in the mixed dorms. The beds were comfortable with storage space close by. All clean and tidy and the owner was pleasant enough. Happy to recommend.

Bed was fine, the host was great with my group. Seemed friendly enough.

The only issue was wifi in the sleeping area.

Had the pilgrim meal prepared by the host and his wife. It was very good

I would recommend

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

I would not recommend this albergue. The owner was not very nice - which is fine…But we were accidentally late for curfew (this app is incorrect - it’s 2200!) and the owner yelled at us in Spanish and would not simply accept our apology. And there were only 6 pilgrims including our group - clearly there’s a reason this place doesn’t have customers. Stay away! Only good thing was the hot shower.

The owner was just fine. And compared to the places we've stayed the last couple of nights, this place was luxurious. Hot showers with plenty of room/space to put your stuff, clean facilities, comfy beds with real sheets, a beautiful outdoor patio... Don't hesitate to stay here!

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

The place is nice but the owner is a bit abrupt. Also, unless you have a bed near the reception area you will not get any WiFi. And be aware of the location of the bed you get. If it is near one of the night lamps you may not get much sleep.

Camino de Sant…

Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. Clean toilets, showers, and beds. Nicely decorated. Owner was lovely (prefers to speak Spanish). Would stay here again, no doubt.
