The cool blast of aircon as you enter your room is so welcome it’s almost shocking. Excellent bed gave me the best night’s sleep on the CP so far. Made even better by knowing I could rise late and chill as I took a rest day to see Lugo and walk the wall.

Breakfast is pretty substantial, there is a 24 hour laundromat close by and a trendy pulpería within 6 mins walking distance - across from the bus station.

Yes, it’s outside the city walls and it’s not cheap, but for a bit of luxury after the mountains it’s worth it.
