This parador was incredible. It’s right next to the Cathedral, making it easy and wonderful to watch the peregrines walk in from their journeys. The room is breathtaking with a beautiful view of the Avenida below. And the bath AND shower seem like a luxury after the Camino. Definitely a splurge and definitely worth it.

Tucked away into a small corner of Santiago is this quaint hotel. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you notice and appreciate its dim lighting and rustic interior. With this charm comes the incredible downside of ghosts. My night was ruined by swarms of ghosts coming to haunt me.
